This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the procedures, terms, and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to bookings made through our website (celebratevacation.co) and other sales channels. Our aim is to provide clear, transparent, and fair processes, consistent with industry standards and Google Ads guidelines.
This policy is an integral part of our overall Terms & Conditions and User Agreement. By making a booking with Celebrate Vacation, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth herein.
1. General Principles: Clarity, Consistency, and Fairness
We are committed to providing a transparent and consistent cancellation and refund experience across all our sales channels. Our policies are designed to be clear and easy to understand, ensuring you have all the necessary information to make informed decisions.
2. User-Initiated Cancellations: Procedures, Timelines, and Applicable Fees
If you need to cancel a booking, please follow these procedures:
- How to Cancel:To request a cancellation, you must contact Celebrate Vacation directly. Please send an email to hotels@celebratevacation.co or call our customer service number. Your request must include your booking reference number and ticket ID.
- Cancellation Charges:Cancellation fees are determined by the type of service booked and the time remaining before the travel date. These charges are imposed by Celebrate Vacation and/or the respective Service Provider (e.g., airline, hotel, tour operator).
- Non-Refundable Elements:Please note that certain booking fees, convenience charges, and specific components of a package (e.g., certain flight segments, visa application fees, or promotional offer amounts) may be non-refundable.

This table provides a general guideline for cancellation charges. Specific terms for individual services (flights, hotels, etc.) may vary and are detailed in Section 5 of this policy and our User Agreement.

3. Company/Service Provider Initiated Cancellations
Celebrate Vacation or the respective Service Provider may cancel a booking due to various reasons, including but not limited to:
- Force Majeure Events:Acts of God, labor unrest, pandemics, government decisions, technical issues, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
- Non-Payment by User:If full payment is not received by the stipulated due date.
- Behavioral Issues:If a userâs conduct is disruptive or violates the service providerâs policies.
- Public Safety/Health Concerns:As outlined in our COVID-19 related terms.
- Alternatives:If Celebrate Vacation has advance knowledge of a cancellation initiated by us or the service provider, we will endeavor to provide suitable alternatives to you, where available.
- Refund Entitlements:Any refunds for company or service provider-initiated cancellations are strictly subject to the receipt of funds from the respective service provider. Celebrate Vacationâs ability to process a refund is contingent upon the service providerâs refund to Celebrate Vacation.
4. Detailed Refund Processing Information
- Timelines:Celebrate Vacation aims to process refunds promptly. We endeavor to process refunds within 24 hours of receiving the funds from the service provider. For transactions older than 6 months, refunds will be processed within 96 hours once valid banking details are received from you.
- Method:All refunds will be processed exclusively to the original payment instrument used for the booking (e.g., the same credit card, debit card, or bank account).
- Exclusions:Any amounts derived from promotional offers or loyalty programs are excluded from the refundable amount.
- Airline 24-Hour Rule:Please note that the 24-hour refund/reservation requirement often associated with airlines does not apply to tickets booked through online travel agencies or other third-party agents like Celebrate Vacation. Our refund process is governed by the terms outlined in this policy and the specific service providerâs policies.
5. Alternatives to Refunds
In certain situations, or as an alternative to a direct monetary refund, Celebrate Vacation or the Service Provider may offer:
- Vouchers:A credit voucher for future travel with Celebrate Vacation or a specific service provider. The terms and validity of such vouchers will be clearly specified.
- Rescheduling:The option to reschedule your tour or activity to a different date, subject to availability and any applicable fare differences or rescheduling fees.
- Transfer of Booking:In some cases, you may be able to transfer your booking to another individual, subject to the specific terms of the service provider and any associated fees.
6. Specific Product Cancellation Terms
While the general principles above apply, specific services may have additional or more detailed cancellation and refund terms. These are outlined in detail in our User Agreement, and key points are summarized below:
- Flight Tickets:Subject to specific airline cancellation policies, change fees, and implications of segment non-use. Refunds are processed only after the airline processes the refund to Celebrate Vacation.
- Hotels:Cancellation policies vary by hotel and room type. Check-in/out time implications and no-show policies are strictly enforced. Refunds are subject to the hotelâs specific cancellation window and their refund processing to Celebrate Vacation.
- Bus:Bus tickets are generally non-transferable. Refunds are subject to the specific bus operatorâs cancellation terms and conditions.
- Cabs (including Self-Drive):Cancellation terms are governed by the specific cab operator. Pre-paid bookings may be subject to cancellation fees if canceled within a certain timeframe.
- Tours and Attractions:Cancellation terms are set by the individual tour or attraction supplier. Itinerary changes by the supplier may occur, and refunds are subject to their policies. No refund for missed activities due to user delay.
- Visa Services:Visa application fees and Celebrate Vacationâs service charges are generally non-refundable, even if the visa application is rejected. Obtaining a valid visa is your sole responsibility.
- Outbound and Domestic Tours:These often have tiered cancellation charges based on the time before departure, as well as non-refundable booking fees or deposits. Refunds are contingent on the tour operatorâs policy and their refund to Celebrate Vacation.
- Cruise Services:Cruise bookings are subject to the specific cruise providerâs cancellation and refund policies, which may include significant penalties depending on the cancellation timeframe.
7. Cancellation Due to Visa Rejection
Obtaining a valid visa (including transit visas and âOK TO BOARDâ approvals) for international bookings is your sole responsibility. If your booking is canceled due to visa rejection, you must inform Celebrate Vacation immediately. Any reapplication for a visa will be treated as a fresh transaction. Refunds, if any, will be processed strictly according to the standard cancellation policy applicable to your booking, after deducting any non-refundable fees.
8. COVID-19 Related Cancellations and Refunds
You acknowledge that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, service providers may cancel bookings or refuse service (e.g., if you exhibit symptoms, refuse to comply with safety advisories, are deemed vulnerable, or pose a health threat). Celebrate Vacation assumes no liability for such refusals. Refunds, if any, are processed strictly subject to the receipt of funds from the service provider.
You must abide by all government guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for travel (e.g., wearing protective gear, maintaining social distancing). Failure to comply may lead to disallowance of travel, with refunds strictly governed by service provider terms. You may also be required to furnish medical proof or health declarations.
